Fueling Ideas. Increasing Efficiency. Energy is the driver of our economy. The global energy consumption is on a constant rising curve, while in the meantime the water resources available are shrinking. Most of the energy sources used today also have a further negative impact on our climate. With social responsibility always in mind and a sustainable energy policy in place, companies can work towards putting an end to those tendencies. As an industrial company, naturally, Enia uses much energy. Therefore, responsible handling of energy is paramount at Enia.


 

 

 We want to further reduce our energy consumption and be conscious of how we handle resources at hand. We foster ideas and initiatives on how to lower our energy demand.

  •  Enia France reduced its energy consumption by 9% and fuel consumption by 6% in 2007. The reasons for these successful reductions was the investment policy which focused on energy efficient machines and the new optimal heating concept.
  •  Enia Germany reached a reduction in energy consumption of 5.8% (electricity), 2.6% (fuel) respectively between 2005 – 2007.
